Though many millions of people have seen what lies to the left of this image, comparatively few have seen the view in this direction. The ruins in the lower right corner of the photo are part of the famous Inca ruins of Machu Picchu in the Peruvian Andes. It's a shame that the view from the ruins is not known as well as the view of the ruins. The cloud forest and jagged peaks surrounding Machu Picchu are simply stunning.
