Released 2010-11-01 Very early morning finds the sun barely peeking above the mountains directly opposite Lake Louise in Canada's Banff National Park. The angle of the rays sets anything on the lake ablaze as if on fire, while keeping the lake itself -- normally an intense chalky green -- an inky black. Because Lake Louise is such a popular tourist attraction, this is one of the few times of day during the busy season that a visitor can enjoy the lake surrounded by complete calm and quiet. It is a perfect time to be on the lake as well -- perhaps in a canoe glowing red.
