Andean Silverspot, Dione glycera
Ecuador is home to thousands of species of butterflies. This Andean Silverspot, also known as the Glycera Longwing, and I played hide and seek for about fifteen minutes before it perched on this flowering branch for a bit of nectar. I could hardly have asked it to pose more beautifully.
