Oreotragus oreotragus
Klipspringers are tiny antelope: they are between 2.5 and 4 feet long, and weigh between 18 and 40 pounds. They nonetheless retain the agility of their larger cousins, bounding effortessly -- and with surprising speed -- across the rocky, uneven terrain they like to call home. It is easy to confuse the klipspringer with the dik-dik, the more famous of the miniscule antelope. Two features make them easy to tell apart: the klipspringer is significantly larger than the dik-dik (which tops out at 15 pounds), and it has a more traditional nose, while the nose of the dik-dik comes to a point and has nostrils that seem to roll inward.
Please note that the agama lizard is not in sharp focus.
