Brown Pelican, Pelecanus occidentalis

While swimming around looking for fish to eat, this pelican kept gliding in and out of the light of a sun just beginning to set. I managed to photograph it while it was half-in and half-out of the sun's rays, creating a completely natural studio-light effect.
