Released 2010-06-05 Shoshone Falls Shoshone Falls near Twin Falls, Idaho, are notable for several things, not least of which is the presence of such a large waterfall in such an arid landscape. Possibly the most striking characteristic of the falls, however, is the frequent, if ephemeral, appearance of a rainbow in front of the falls. Mist from the cascading water provides a constantly shifting canvas upon which the rays of the sun may paint, but the strong winds rushing down the canyon ensure that the rainbow is constantly in flux.
